It all started with my friend Rob and his great Dane Max. Max weighed over 100 pounds and could drop over 3/4 of a pound of poop two or three more times on a walk, so Rob always had one or two poop bags with him. One day I noticed a red rash on Rob's arm and asked about it. He told me that he was infected by roundworm from handling his dog poop. I was shocked and asked if there was anything on the market that could hold the bags so he didn't have to come in contact with his dog poop. Rob stated that he had tried a few different clips, "plastic garbage" in his words. I have been told that I'm a pretty handy guy and I wanted to help my friend, so I needed to make something different from all others. Strong, dependable, long lasting with no plastic or rubber.

Following this conversation I went to my workshop and found two perfect items -

together they made the PICKUPOOP!

Rob was the first person I gave one to and for six years the PICKUPOOP has become just as important as a leash, harness or collar when taking his dog for walks. He appreciated my creation for being strong , long-lasting and user friendly - no knots needed -

just spin and clip (TM). Rob has received many compliments over the years and urged me to start producing them. Three years ago I dove deep into educating myself on the dog industry and the dangers of dog poop. I have since produced a new and improved and well-loved PICKUPOOP model which you can see on his site. I hope that you love my product as much as Rob does!
